Can anyone help out??

Parents, volunteers and supporters of our program. The Town of Canmore will give non-profits a donation if we are able to secure some volunteers for their New Years Eve activities. There are a variety of roles available, shifts are about 4 hours each.

INDOOR VOLUNTEERS:
4 – 8:30 P.M. DJ family dance party room attendant
4:30 – 8 P.M. Rink monitors. Must have skates.
4:30 – 8 P.M. Green room attendant
4:30 – 8:30 P.M. Volunteer room attendant
4:30 – 8:30 P.M. Craft room attendants

OUTDOOR VOLUNTEERS:
5 – 8:30 P.M. Outdoor fire pit monitors/marshmallow roasters

INDOOR / OUTDOOR VOLUNTEERS:
7:30 – 9:30 P.M. Event tear-down

We had wonderful sessions 1 & 2 and as we move into session 3 next week, I am putting out a call for more volunteers! Our classes run Weds 130-7pm, Fri 9-2 and Sat 9-4. We are located in DeWinton (5 mins south of Calgary). We offer a fun environment , laughter, great exercise and the chance to help out with an amazing program.
There are also chances to hop on our horses to warm them up and get some horse therapy yourself!

The Office of Chief Provincial Veterinarian confirmed a new case of Equine Herpes Virus-1 (EHV-1) in Alberta. EHV-1 can cause Equine Herpesvirus Myeloencephalopathy (EHM), a provincially notifiable disease in Alberta. There are no movement restrictions currently and monitoring is on going on a provincial level. Horse owners should stay informed about EHV-1 and follow strong biosecurity measures, especially when travelling with your horse.
