Hey guys! Just wanted to make a post on a few commonly asked questions that equine massage therapist often get!

Is equine massage even worth it?

Well Equine massage…
✅Aids all the horses’ systems to work together more efficiently & effectively
✅promotes proper connections in the horse to improve performance… like the NERVOUS SYSTEM 🧠

Massage will impact every horse differently~taking into consideration all aspects of the horses condition to best determine a proper treatment plan for your horse is what I focus on to see the best results! SO the answer is YES! Massage can benefit your horse in so many great ways! 🙌🏼

How do I know if equine massage is what my horse needs?

Well does your horse…
🐴 Dislike being groomed?
🐴show lateral stiffness?
🐴have head shaking issues?
🐴Girthy?
🐴Carries its tail to a side during movement?
🐴Reluctant to canter on one lead?

These are just some examples of the factors equine owners may notice and what we as equine massage therapists can help with!

Hello Everyone!

I'm now starting my practicum! I'm looking for 8-10 horses, which will receive an initial assessment & treatment along with 2-3 follow-up treatments!

I am offering student rates, which are very reasonable!😉 I’m charging $50 per session, with a small mileage fee. Sessions per horse will range from 1-1.5hours depending on if it’s an initial or follow-up appointment!

If you’re not in my preferred area, I can make arrangements for travel if there is a few horses to work on!

Lab days are my favourite days! I love being able to take all the knowledge and apply that during an assessment & treatment!

There are so many positive impacts that bodywork can do for your horse! As an equine massage bodyworker, determining the best treatment methods & modalities specialized to every horses needs will help to see the best results!

Happy Wednesday!

I’m absolutely overwhelmed with the amount of support & messages I’ve been receiving! So thank you all so much!☺️

With the in-class portion of my studies coming close to the end, I will be offering student services in order to complete my practicum from May to the end of July.

Ive had a few inquiries on what I will be offering so I thought I’d let you all know the modalities Im practicing here at the college and what I’m able to offer as of now!

I will be taking in clients around the Olds area during my practicum and I’m more than happy to make appointments for when I visit home in the Oyen area as well!

Hello everyone!

As many of you know I'm currently persuing equine massage therapy at Olds College!

My massage therapy journey began in 2021, after two years of studies and practice I received my RMT diploma. Although I loved every minute I felt my career was missing something. With that knowledge and my love for horses, equine massage was the perfect fit!

I couldn't be happier with my decision, health & wellness is something l'm super passionate about and being able to promote that through my work as a RMT and equine massage therapist has me looking forward for the future!

I’m excited to offer equine massage & bodywork practices to help our equine companions & athletes performing and always feeling their best!
