Wild Daisy Yoga is so much more than a yoga studio. It is a place for us to come together in our joy and in our sadness. It is a place for us to feel our Roots in community. It is a place for us to support each other. It is a place for us to learn together. It is a place for us to explore what it means to be humans.
You are welcome here. 🌼

In our ReSource Retreat we experienced a deep dive into the meaning, mantra, and message of the Sun Salutation.
The sun salutation is a very common flow style set of movements, but there is meaning behind the postures. It is a prayer to the sun, a reverence for the infinite, and a gratitude for our place in the cosmos.

and are already dreaming up their next retreat. If you know of an amazing venue that would be appropriate for a yoga retreat, please reach out!

One of the Kleshas (reasons for suffering) is Abinivesha.... fear of death and change.
We can suffer from this Kleshas when we hold too tightly, when we wish for permanence, when we place high value on youthfulness, when we get stuck in stagnation.
Yoga is an honouring of change, of impermanence. We surrender to the flow of energy, the flow of time, the flow of breath. Each breath is a mini-death. Each moment is a new moment. Nothing is permanent.
When we can truly understand and accept this principle, we can find joy within change.
You can practice this today by seeing the beauty in the change of season. Find joy in the darkness. Embrace the slow. 🍂

Healing happens when humans gather in circle: this is ancient human technology. A gathering with others who are doing personal growth work. This work, trauma healing, is for everyone. Across cultures, we all come from medicine people at our roots, humans who knew how to live off the land, work in harmony with nature and were deeply connected to their local community. We are ill because we don’t know how to do those very human things that keep us well and connected.

But you have a spark, a spark of desire. This season we celebrate you, cycle breakers. You have a drive to know better, do better, be better. If you are a cycle breaker, you wanted to be the REAL you, you drew boundaries, you spoke truth, you release trapped emotions, you processed generational pain, you healed old wounds, and you consciously choose to respond to life differently than your predecessors.

You both feel fear and are fearless. You have “seen” the work and done it, resisted it, circled back. It's hard! And yet…. you keep going. Because that is the path of the cycle breaker.

Carefully curated healing modalities + offerings include:

Smudge - to allow sage plant medicine to help you move what you no longer need to carry

Traditional ceremonies - to learn how to craft tools and practices into a potent and meaningful experience

Sound healing - drum - to connect to your most primal, powerful self, feel, release, heal

Hot Cacao - high in magnesium (and love - chocolate!!!)

Journeying - explore inner landscapes through guided spiritual journeys, connecting you with your deeper self and the unseen realms

Sit with us, and honour both the dark and the light of the journey of cycle breaking. Sit with us for the letting go ceremony, and to celebrate how far you've come.

We are welcoming Ryan from back to the studio for a dream yoga workshop!

Dreams are a gateway to intuition—sometimes inspiring, always mysterious and often confusing. They carry messages waiting to be opened and understood. What is my next step? What can I learn from a difficult situation? What gives my life meaning?

Awaken to the wisdom of your dreams

In dream yoga we explore how yoga is not just movement, but a path of inquiry, an unfolding mystery where the world around you speaks in metaphor.

In this workshop, you’ll bring one written dream that resonates with you.

Using subtle movement, breath, and meditation practices, I'll guide you through Swami Radha’s dream method that delves deeply into the symbolic elements of your dream to uncover their meanings and significance.

By the end of the session, you’ll receive practical, grounded takeaways that you can apply in your waking life to honour and integrate the dream’s message.

In the West we treat the body, energy, and mind as separate. In Yoga, we learn to treat all aspects of ourselves as connected. We don't get on to the mat to work out, we get on to the mat to work in. The physical practice of yoga brings us into a deep understanding of our energy, our mind, our thoughts, our habits, and our patterns. Yoga shows us how we can show up as kinder more present human BE-ings. 🪷
