Oftentimes when I ask patients how much water they drink, they answer with “𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩”.
It can seem daunting to drink 2-3L of water/day if it’s not something you’re used to.
I personally have a harder time getting my water in when it’s cold out. I would much prefer to have a cozy cup of tea or warm water with lemon/lime (limes are superior IMO 😛).
We need lots of water for our bodies to function well. It helps us concentrate 🧠, helps our bowel movements stay regular 💩, and keeps our skin hydrated 🧖♀️.
If you’re someone who struggles with their water intake, try increasing by drinking hot or iced herbal teas (caffeine-free and unsweetened), water with fruit, lemon, lime and/or herbs to flavour.
My faves are:
Peppermint tea
Spearmint tea
Peach tea
Tulsi tea
Hibiscus tea
Hot water with lime
