At Chartwell Rosemont Les Quartiers in Montreal, QC, residents turned an abandoned stretch of land into a flourishing garden filled with flowers and biodiversity, now known as the Jardins d’Iberville. 🌸🌿

Launched four years ago as a grassroots project, the gardens have become a source of pride, creativity and connection for seniors in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie. From planting and painting to simply spending time outdoors, everyone plays a part in this “little garden of happiness.”

Monique, a joyful and adventurous senior from Candiac, QC, always dreamed of taking to the skies in a hot air balloon. Inspired by her granddaughter’s own flight as a teen, Monique wished to share a similar experience with her family.

Yesterday we had a baby shower for Rosie a long time Chartwell UCP. Rosie started with Chartwell Collingwood in 2015 until she moved to Shelburne in 2021, then transferring to work at our Orangeville Chartwell Montgomery Villages. Resident's were so excited to come with wishes to celebrate Rosie's expected little one. We want to wish Rosie all the best with her first little bundle of joy!! We can't wait to meet baby Cassidy!!
