March 2-8 is Social Work Week. This year’s theme is Care. Insight. Together. It captures the interconnected strengths that define social work — empathy, expertise, and partnership in action. Social workers are regulated health professionals who work with clients - individuals, families, groups and communities—to improve individual and collective well-being. We especially recognize and thank DAFHT social workers who provide services to patients including application assistance and support for financial and government programs, service navigation with housing and food access, Powers of Attorney and advance care planning assistance and more!
