Mr. Hank is starting to relax his jaw! This sweet boy often tenses up in his neck, shoulders, and jaw. It's taken some time, but he's finally letting go of that tension. I'm thrilled to see him taking the initiative to stretch his head and neck on his own.

Are these 2 photos debatable? Absolutely!! Same horse, taken about an hour apart. The first one is right at the beginning of our session, the second one at the end.
Obvious could haves: “The horse was put in that position”, “bad camera timing”… I could go on and on.
Both photos the horse put herself where she was most comfortable”. All I did was take a picture. My goal isn’t to bring awareness through staged photos, that is counter productive and negates what my purpose of massage is.
So what do I see? The power of what massage therapy does. Yes there is still a lot more to address with this mare, but the changes I see in only 1 session bring me a wealth of emotions and a strong drive to keep learning more about this amazing animal and techniques to help improve their overall muscle health.
