Are these 2 photos debatable? Absolutely!! Same horse, taken about an hour apart. The first one is right at the beginning of our session, the second one at the end.
Obvious could haves: “The horse was put in that position”, “bad camera timing”… I could go on and on.
Both photos the horse put herself where she was most comfortable”. All I did was take a picture. My goal isn’t to bring awareness through staged photos, that is counter productive and negates what my purpose of massage is.
So what do I see? The power of what massage therapy does. Yes there is still a lot more to address with this mare, but the changes I see in only 1 session bring me a wealth of emotions and a strong drive to keep learning more about this amazing animal and techniques to help improve their overall muscle health.
