I don’t live a “normal” life — and that’s exactly why I do this work.
I’m Taryn.
Mama of five.
Doula for 10 years.
Former social service worker.
Homeschooling, country-living, future sheep & chicken owner 🐑🐓
I’ve seen birth from every angle — the empowered, the ignored, the traumatized, the deeply healing. Before I was a doula, I worked in social services… advocating for families who fell through the cracks. That experience changed me. It’s why I will never be a “just breathe through it” doula.
I believe birth can crack you open — or close you down — depending on the support you receive.
I believe parents deserve:
• real information (not fear)
• advocacy (not dismissal)
• support for moms and dads
• postpartum care that doesn’t disappear after the baby is born
I live slowly, intentionally, a little off-grid in my heart 🌿
Homeschool days. Bare feet. Big emotions. Deep conversations.
That’s how I support birth too — grounded, calm, intuitive, and fiercely protective of your autonomy.
I’m not here to tell you how to birth.
I’m here to help you trust yourself again.
If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or just craving honest conversations about birth and motherhood — you’re in the right place.
✨ Welcome to my corner of the internet.
