Erin graduated from the Ontario Midwifery Education Program at Toronto Metropolitan University, becoming a Registered Midwife in 2025. Prior to midwifery, she built a strong foundation in maternity care as a Labour & Delivery Nurse, delivering compassionate support in high-paced clinical settings.
Her passion for nurturing families led her to take on a leadership role with La Leche League, where she offered breastfeeding support, education, and peer mentorship for nursing parents. In addition, she has worked as a postpartum doula, offering experienced emotional and practical support during the delicate postpartum period.
As a mother of 5 children, 3 of whom were born at home, she brings personal insight into family-centred care and understands deeply the joys and challenges of both hospital and home birth journeys.
Outside of midwifery, Erin enjoys spending time in nature—especially hiking local trails with her dogs. She loves hand knitting socks, wearing “fun” pants, and finds joy in curling up with a good book and a cat on her lap. She much prefers an engaging podcast over a movie, tuning in to everything from true crime and women’s health to psychology and relationships."
She feels honoured to join the Midwives of Headwater Hills and looks forward to walking alongside families in Orangeville and beyond, offering respectful, individualized, and evidence-based care through the transitions of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Her practice is rooted in relationship, empowerment, and the belief that informed choices help shape beautiful birth stories.

Please join us in welcoming our new student Sydney! She will be joining green team until April 2026.
I am very excited to be back placed at Midwives of Headwater Hills for my senior year of midwifery school! Having grown up in Caledon, Ontario, I love being out of the city and going camping or heading up to the cottage with my husband and my beagle Louie. Before going to McMaster, I completed a Bachelor of Health Science concentrating in Global Health at Carleton University and began working at a pharmaceutical company. Work at this company wasn’t fulfilling for me and I had always been drawn to midwifery. Truly I didn’t know it was the path for me until my older sister invited me to her midwifery-cared labour. The openness and continuity of her care was inspiring, and I’ve been hooked on this work ever since. After having my own baby with the help of Headwater’s Midwives, I am truly honoured to be joining this team. I can’t wait to be available for clients and hopefully be the same source of comfort that I saw midwives give myself and my sister.
