Amy was the last ever graduate of the Midwifery Education Program at Laurentian University, and holds rural and remote midwifery close to her heart. During her time as a midwifery student, she served a variety of families across Ontario including Canadian Military families in Kingston and Amish & Mennonite families in Grey Bruce. She is coming to Orangeville after 3 years of practice in downtown Toronto where she primarily served Canadian newcomers and refugees. She has a strong passion for teaching and enjoys precepting students from the midwifery education program.

Amy had the privilege of experiencing pregnancy and childbirth herself as a two-time surrogate for close friends. Outside of birth and pregnancy, she spends most of her time with her rambunctious dogs.
