Fiddlehead Care Farm (FCF) is a therapeutic farm supporting children and youth with special needs. The facility provides nature and animal-assisted therapy, and recreational and learning opportunities for children and youth with developmental, physical and behavioural needs. Located on organic farmland in Mono, Ontario, the serene and calming landscape provides a nurturing environment for therapy,

gardening and exploring nature trails. Our mission is to provide children, youth and young adults with varying abilities and their families the opportunity to learn, experience, and grow without boundaries through innovative animal-assisted therapy and nature-based education, rehabilitation and recreation. FCF’s vision is to use the healing and calming properties of nature to improve the quality of life and restore the mind, body and spirit. FCF is committed to innovative therapy for children and youth with special needs to help them reach their full potential and become their best self.

Does your child ever just *explode* with anger, sadness or frustration out of nowhere? As parents we try to navigate the world with our children in mind - preparing them for things that may be uncomfortable - but what do we do when we don't know what is going on with them? Join us for this exciting workshop where we will learn about the connection between sensory dysregulation and emotional dysregulation, and we will explore practical strategies to support our children through these moments.
