✨ Hello, 2026! We’re thrilled to celebrate the arrival of Headwaters’ first baby of the new year!
Baby Heink Fandrich was born at 4:40 a.m. on January 2, 2026, weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces. Heink is the sixth child of Christian and Katrina Fandrich of Orangeville, joining four brothers and one sister.
Headwaters sends heartfelt congratulations to the Fandrich family and wishes them a healthy and happy year ahead! ❤️

Headwaters Health Care Centre is a medium-sized 73-bed acute and complex continuing care hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as an Emergency Department with 24/7 coverage.
The new Eva Heiny Ambulatory Care Wing is home to high-demand clinics, services and programs such as dialysis, chemotherapy, minor procedures, orthopaedics and plastic surgery. Provincial Partnerships such as the Ontario Breast Screening Program and the Mississauga Halton Regional Cancer Program offer expanded outpatient services to residents, close to home.
Headwaters also enjoys a unique service agreement with Dufferin County Paramedic Services, who have been serving this region for over 50 years. Accredited with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada, Headwaters has a team of more than 700 dedicated health care professionals, physicians and volunteers.
Located in Orangeville, Headwaters serves the communities and townships within Dufferin County and Caledon.
Headwaters Health Care Centre’s campus of care is home to a unique award winning collection of 12 distinct gardens and water features, called The Friendship Gardens. With over 400 trees, designed and maintained by a group of 20 active volunteers and supported by community donations, the Friendship Gardens has been created for year-round peace and enjoyment.
