Teal Tree Holistic Services commences it’s year today, not with a feature product of the month, but with a service, which is Distant Reiki.
We do not often promote this practice within our media pages, but have chosen to during the month of January.
Below is a more thorough description of this practice, but should you find that you have more questions after reading the description, please feel free to reach out to us via the page.
Distant Reiki
Founded on the principal that a universal energy exists within all of us and can be accessed by trained Practitioners to receiver, this practice can be done at a distance, thus calling it Distant Reiki.
I often give people this scenario…you walk into a crowded room and suddenly you feel ill, or you may feel elated.
No one has touched or spoken to you to make you feel so, but there you are, feeling what you feel.
The physical body, is only one part of the whole of you. Your auric body, the body that surrounds the physical body, is energy.
Your ‘feeling’ is based on other aura’s touching yours and if someone is unwell, you may be pick up on that.
Or on the contrary, if you are in the presence of someone who seems to be beaming with light, and like a good bowl of good soup, puts a ‘pep’ in your step when you end your conversation with them, they are more than likely someone of health, in all forms.
I remember I had a holistic teacher once tell our class, “pay attention to the auras around you. You never want to get into an elevator with someone who has no light”.
Many people, including myself (a Reiki Practioner) believe that illness’s, emotional upset and other forms of ailments begins in the auric field.
As the body and mind exempts itself of care, the aura grows smaller until it’s within the physical body itself. If not taken care of, the potential light surrounding them, grows only to be dim.
Symptoms exist prior, like whispers from the wind, letting you know something is amiss.
To be laymen, is to say, Reiki is much like dusting off the field surrounding the body, and if it already exists (illness, physical and or emotional upset) within the body, that too is worked on through a session.
Reiki itself is energy work and because it is so, it can be done remotely by a certified, at minimum Level II Reiki Practioner.
All that is required is the consent of the receiver with an allocated time to open the door for a session.
