Some of the same questions keep coming up, so I have decided to answer a few of the popular ones, here in this post today.
What is the difference between your sales and promotions and custom made items?
Our Sales and Promotions album, is an album solely devoted to items we have created for a vendors market we are participating in, an item that is seasonally inspired and or custom made (an idea stemming from someone else’s inspiration who has requested me to bring it to life).
Although some of these items do feature part of our ‘final retail’ items (such as a Bed of Roses gift set), the finished product within the Sales and Promotions album, is not part of our final retail line.
An example, each item in the Bed of Roses gift set would be sold separately in our final retail line but sold together as a ‘sale and or promotion’.
People will often pull inspiration from our ‘Sales and Promotions’ album and later request it to be ‘custom made’ or recreated in a way that suits them more, such as, this without that…
What happens if I really enjoy an item in your sales and promotions album and want to reorder?
The items within our Sales and Promotions album can be recreated over and over again should someone find an idea appealing.
Why do you only make a ‘few’ of your promotional items?
When we decided on what would be our final retail line, we also committed to having the ingredients pertaining to each item in stock at almost all times.
But, for a promotional idea, such as our Mocha Latte hand and body soap, which is made from a coconut based blend along with the essential oils of both coffee and chocolate have ingredients that we would not normally use.
The batches we do make, use all the ingredients that we purchased to create it. Kind of like a ‘one and done’. Sometimes this equates to 3 pieces, sometimes it equates to 12, but again, anything can be remade.
How do I purchase if you don’t have a site?
For a small business that has zero intention of ever going mass market, we find the most effective form of communication (sales and comments) we have is through personal messages via our FB and IG media pages.
We manufacture and retail our items out of Orangeville, Ontario. Two companies within this area carry some of our retail items within their shops, including More Than Just Baskets Inc. and Route58. We also but have been shipping across Canada for over a year.
We deliver locally to the Orangeville, Mono and Grand Valley areas, each week but also extend our deliveries to Brampton, Bolton, Newmarket and Toronto.
