Hello my name is Lindsay Dunford, Im a registered Massage Therapist in Orangeville. Massage Therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons. Massage Therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy. I work using Swedish Massage techniques, Specializing in low back and hip dysfunction, also with sports injuries, or previous accidents. I am currently studying Neurokinectic Therapy and treatments, NKT,(http://neurokinetictherapy.com/ ) learning the connection between the brain and the muscles and restoring the body back to its original healthy state, working with the different muscle patterns stored in the brain and correcting them. I am a certified member of the CMTO http://www.cmto.com/

I have a passion for my job, and always willing and wanting to learn more to be a better therapist for my clients, to regain any loss function, and restore any dysfunction or pain they may be experiencing.
