Here’s another one that’s near and dear to my heart.
As someone who has lived with postpartum anxiety and went through the lengthy and intimidating process of getting help, I don’t want that to be anyone else’s story.
As someone who hears vulnerable, honest stories from moms every day about how their mental health has been deeply affected by becoming a parent, I feel very called to the work of helping people get the support they need and deserve.
This is hands down one of the biggest ‘why’s’ of my business.
We spend so much time planning for birth and creating baby’s nursery and gift registry that we often don’t spend much time planning for postpartum. Who will show up for you? Who can you lean on? Who will look out for you, cook for you, help with laundry etc etc.
We are lucky to have a really amazing community of practitioners who want to be some of the people you can lean on in your time(s) of need.
If you’re struggling, try to remember that what you’re moving through is not your fault and you are most certainly not alone.
If you need help with figuring out where to go or how to find the right help, my door is always open. ❤️
