MacPherson Communication Clinic Speech-Language Pathology Clinic serving Simcoe County, Muskoka, Parry Sound, Grey Bruce, Nipissing District, Durham Region and surrounding areas

The MacPherson Communication Clinic is dedicated to providing current, evidence-based assessment and therapy services to our clients. We offer a warm, friendly and professional environment where individuals and their families are encouraged to establish meaningful goals. We work with adults who have sustained an acquired brain injury (ABI) or stroke (CVA). We also work with adults with voice difficulties (such as nodules) and adults with developmental disabilities. We also work with children of all ages from toddlers to young adults, who are experiencing difficulties as a result of articulation delay, phonological disorders, verbal dyspraxia, autism or PDD, Down syndrome, developmental delay, learning disability, dysfluency or language delay/disorder.

The best sessions are the ones that naturally morph into something different but you’re still targeting the same goal. We started on s blends then ended up building a house for the cat and targeted saying the “s” at the end (rather than “haut”). Child led play 😉
