About Us
Paradise Shores by Amandafritz was established by myself, Catherine Greenhalgh. Previously, the retirement home was known as The AmandaFritz Seniors Residence which was also established by myself. We have now moved to a beautiful bigger location in Orillia. The name AmandaFritz was inspired by my daughter Amanda and my Grandmother Fritzy. I have 27 years of experience working with seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. During this time, I have worked in many Long Term Facilities and Group Homes. Those opportunities became my motivation to open my own privatized care home for individuals of all ages. Doing this allows me to provide a home away from home experience with lots of love and support to go around.

Wow! our lovely and very special lady Phyllis turned 103 on October 24th. We have been so privileged at Paradise Shores to have been able to celebrate her birthdays for 3 1/2 years now. She is an absolutely amazing woman full of stories and knowledge. Being around her is the closest you can get too experiencing a little bit of past history.
