🐾 Purr-actical Therapy Tips 🐾

🐾 You don’t always need to fix the feeling — sometimes you just need to pause and let your nervous system settle. Sunshine helps, too.
🐾 Tension builds in the body first. Movement — even a tiny stretch — helps your brain feel safe again.
🐾 Slow, steady breathing helps calm your body’s alarm system. Bonus points if you have a furry friend.
🐾 Boundaries don’t need long explanations. ‘No’ can be enough.
🐾 Pause when emotions rise. Name the feeling. Breathe. Then respond — not react.
🐾 Rest is a boundary too.
🐾 Your brain processes emotions best when rested. Don’t underestimate the power of a cozy nap.
🐾 Before you spiral… drink some water. It sounds simple, but it brings your nervous system back to the present.
🐾 You don’t need to earn rest. It’s part of being human.
🐾 Healing happens in safe spaces — sometimes, even on the couch beside a cat.
🐾 Healing often starts when you stop shrinking yourself.
🐾 Healing isn’t about speed. It’s about showing up, even when it’s hard.
