In November, BTF hosted a sold-out Part A course with physiotherapists and chiropractors from across the region. It was a jam-packed weekend diving into evidence-based assessment, classification, and management strategies for patients with low back pain and referred leg pain. 

We loved hosting such an engaged and curious group and special thanks to Fiona for guiding us!  More educational events coming soon!

Join us for another Snowflake Series run this Sunday December 14!

❄️ 🏃‍♂️ The Snowflake Series is a volunteer-organized winter race in Orillia, now in its 34th year! All funds raised go directly back into our community.

Back to Function will be there on race day to help you feel your best:
• Pre-race: A quick, high-energy warm-up led by our team to get you ready to run.
• Post-race: Visit our booth inside the Legion for injury advice, recovery tips, and support for any aches or pains.

Race Info:
• 5 km loop through the streets of Orillia
• Spectator-friendly start/finish area
• Warm indoor space at the Legion
• Medals for top finishers in each age and gender category

For the 11th year, Back to Function is supporting the Orillia Youth Centre - a place that gives local youth (ages 11–17) a safe, supervised space to hang out, find community, and access programs that are completely free.

This year, we’re collecting new hats and mitts, as well as gift cards to stores teens actually shop at, so they can pick out the things that make them feel most like… them. 💛

If you’re in a position to give, we’d love to welcome your support. Even the smallest contribution goes directly to a young person in our community.

Drop-offs will be open now until December 21st, and truly, thank you for helping us show up for the youth who need it most.

A little comfort goes a long way. 🫶
