I'm pleased to announce that I've both created and am also the instructor for our new cosmetic injector courses, along with Dr. Negin Nikfar of , providing Medical Director duties, and also sharing invaluable information and feedback for our students. These courses are now offered at Seneca Polytechnic as part of their Medical Aesthetics for nurses program!

STORY TIME and also a PSA

I know, especially in this economy, that if people are still able to afford cosmetic injections, they want a deal.

BUT....PLEASE keep in mind that, when you see ads for low cost wrinkle treatment and/or dermal fillers, you often get what you pay for. Some unscrupulous injectors may be using products not authorized for use in Canada ie "Beautox" for example, or cutting costs some other way.

I've seen some awful cases of poorly injected neuromodulators (wrinkle injections) and dermal fillers, often due to the injector having minimal knowledge of facial anatomy and/or inexperience.

Cheaper is not always better. Remember, it's your face!

Just for reference as an FYI. the average cost in Durham/GTA/Toronto for wrinkle injections is $11 per unit. If you're seeing ads offering much lower rates, ask yourself why. 💖 💉 💉 💉 💋 👄 💋 💄 👄 🪡 🪡 💉 🪡
