What conditions can Naturopathic Doctors treat?

Naturopathic Doctors can treat many different conditions! Some choose to focus on specific conditions based on their experience and expertise working with patients with those conditions. I run a general practice, which means that I see patients with different concerns. Some areas in particular that I like to treat include digestive issues, hormonal concerns (including PCOS, infertility, menopause, and painful periods), fatigue, and autoimmune conditions.

When a patient comes to me with a condition that I'm not familiar with, I always do extensive research on the condition itself, as well as naturopathic treatments that have been proven effective. I want my patients to have the best care, and be provided with the best chance of feeling better.

What is a Naturopathic Doctor?

Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are primary health care providers who use natural remedies to support and encourage healing of the body. NDs can diagnose, treat, and manage patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions.

NDs go through rigorous training which includes at least three years of university level education, followed by four years in an accredited naturopathic medical program. NDs in Ontario are regulated by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I'm always searching for the root cause of why you're experiencing certain symptoms. During an initial consultation I spend 60-90 minutes with you going over your health history, lifestyle, and current symptoms so that I can make recommendations that are individualized to you and your concerns.
