It’s a new month! 🌷🌻☀️ So a new chance to create new rhythms, take inventory of what’s working or not, and hopefully see the sun more.

Do you have any new month traditions or rhythms?

A space designed for you to exhale. 🌿

Therapy isn’t just about what you say—it’s also about how safe you feel while saying it.
We’ve created this space to be calm, comfortable, and grounding… a place where you can show up exactly as you are.

Because healing happens best where you feel at ease. 💛

Nervousness and anxiety can feel similar—but they’re not the same.

Nervousness usually shows up around something specific (a presentation, a conversation, a big moment). It’s temporary and tends to pass once it’s over.

Anxiety is often more persistent, less tied to one clear cause, and can linger—even when there’s nothing immediate happening.

Both are valid. Both are human.

The key isn’t to eliminate them—but to understand what you’re feeling, so you can respond with the right kind of support. 💛

Pause and ask yourself:
👉 *What am I responding to right now—something specific, or a general sense of unease?

When everything feels overwhelming, it’s often because we’re carrying things that were never ours to control.

A simple reset:
👉 What’s actually in my control right now?

Gently place your energy there—and practice releasing the rest.

Less control. More peace. 💛

A lot of our stress doesn’t come from situations—it comes from the rules we carry.

“I should always get it right.”
“I must be liked by everyone.”
“If I disappoint someone, I’ve failed.”

In CBT, these are called rules and assumptions—the quiet beliefs shaping how we see ourselves and the world.

The problem? They’re often rigid, unrealistic, and learned—not chosen.

Try this shift:
👉 Is this rule helping me… or hurting me?

You don’t have to live by every rule your mind created. 💭

People-pleasing isn’t just being “too nice.” 🌿

For many, it’s a learned way of staying safe in relationships—keeping the peace, avoiding conflict, and making sure everyone else is okay.

It might show up as saying yes when you want to say no, over-explaining, or feeling responsible for how others feel. These patterns aren’t weaknesses—they’re your nervous system protecting connection. 💛

The goal of healing? Not less caring, but learning your needs and boundaries can exist alongside connection.
✨ You can care and take care of yourself.

Pause for a moment… how are you really feeling today? 🌿

Ask yourself:
Do I need rest?
Reassurance?
Boundaries?
Connection?
Space?

Whatever you need, it’s valid. Giving yourself permission to notice it is the first step toward caring for your emotional health. 💛

Take a deep breath. Check in. Show yourself some kindness today.

Anxiety isn’t your enemy—it’s your brain’s overzealous bodyguard. 🛡️
It tries to keep you safe by:

1️⃣ Worrying about the future (future-tripping)
2️⃣ Overthinking every detail (seeking certainty)
3️⃣ Avoiding what feels risky (playing it safe)

The trick? Notice it, thank it, and then choose what you actually need.

Anxiety can protect and guide—without running your life. 💛

If things feel different lately, it makes sense.

Hormonal changes can impact mood, stress tolerance, and emotional regulation in ways that aren’t always talked about.

You’re not “too sensitive” — your system may just need something different right now.

More care.
More space.
Less pressure.

Your thoughts can feel true—but that doesn’t mean they are.
Our minds fill in gaps and jump to conclusions, especially in uncertainty:

“I did something wrong.”
“They’re upset with me.”
“I’m not enough.”

These are thoughts, not facts.

Try this shift:
“What else could be true?”

You don’t have to believe every thought you think.

🧠 Thought ≠ Truth

Save this for when your mind starts telling stories.

Children don’t always have the language for how they’re feeling — but they often have the experience.

Using something like emojis can help bridge that gap.

It gives them a simple way to notice and share their emotions without pressure.
Over time, these small check-ins build emotional awareness and safety.
