🍁 Happy 🇨🇦

Today, we celebrate the rich tapestry that is Canada—our history, our people, and the diverse voices that shape our future.

As we mark this national day, we also pause to reflect on the full scope of our country’s story. We honour the enduring presence, cultures, and inherent rights of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples on whose traditional territories we live and work.

May today be a moment of both celebration and reflection, as we move forward together in the spirit of unity, reconciliation, and inclusion.

Happy Pride Season!

From June through September, communities across Canada and beyond come together to honour the resilience, talent, and contributions of 2SLGBTQI+ individuals. 🌈

Pride is more than a celebration—it’s a movement rooted in advocacy. The first large-scale demonstrations for 2SLGBTQI+ rights in Canada began in 1971 in Ottawa and Vancouver. Today, Pride events from across Canada continue that legacy of visibility, inclusion, and joy. Toronto's Pride weekend in June is now among the largest Pride events in North America.

As Pride festivals light up cities all summer long, we stand in solidarity with 2SLGBTQI+ communities—this season and every season.
