Are you creative, bold, and passionate about s*xual health? The AIDS Committee of Durham Region (ACDR) invites artists, designers, and community members to submit their original artwork for our renewed awareness campaign: “Protect Yourself.”

This campaign promotes HIV prevention through condom use and PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) in a way that’s cheeky, eye-catching, and memorable.

Our three core messages are:

Cover Your Rooster (Renewed) – Promote condom use.

Protect Your Cat (Renewed) – Encourage protection for vaginal s*x.

PrEP Your Donkey (New) – Highlight the importance of PrEP for a**l s*x.

PrEP Your Cat (New) - Highlight the importance of PrEP for vaginal s*x.

We’re looking for designs that are fun, inclusive, culturally aware, and resonate with diverse communities, including 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and youth populations. Your artwork could be featured on posters, social media, merchandise, and across the region! Apply now using the QR code or at https://forms.gle/q6rMxaU3Ksu9bX1RA

Howdy Folx,
It's great to meet y'all. I'm Carlos, the new GBMSM Outreach Co-Ordinator at ACDR.

I'm a Genderqueer member of the MSM community and, professionally, have been working within different roles of community support (both in Canada and in the UK) for almost twenty years.

I'm looking forward to working with you and offering support and information regarding s*xual health, HIV, PrEP/PEP, Undetectable=Untransmissable, cruising and more.
Feel free to reach out with any queries you may have.
