The Ontario Tech Pre-Medical Association is a student-run organization that serves to educate, guide and provide unique resources to all students who want to pursue an altruistically rewarding career in medicine. The primary goal of our society is to establish unity and a collegiate environment amongst our members, which we believe to be of the utmost importance in accomplishing this daunting task. Our society holds a multitude of events including medical school information sessions, physician and medical student presentations, MCAT sessions, mock interview and CV workshops, and a variety of diverse volunteering opportunities.

Hi Pre-meds! Ever wonder how medical students, doctors, and researchers at top institutions conduct real-world research? 🤔 Well, here’s your chance to get a front-row seat by becoming a research participant! 🧪
Mount Sinai Hospital (in partnership with UofT) offers opportunities for individuals to participate in research studies. Not only can you observe medical professionals in action, but you may also receive financial compensation for your time! 💰
Plus, it’s a great way to network and build connections with the medical community. I once participated in a workshop where med students practiced ultrasound imaging on me — it was such a unique experience! I even got to ask questions and introduce myself to doctors, which opened the door to potential shadowing and research opportunities. 🙌
