Can Stay Fit CanStayFit is a nonprofit that supports the health and fitness needs of marginalized communities.

Begin Your Journey to Health & Fitness with CanStayFit, a non-profit organization that is focused on supporting the health and fitness needs of marginalized communities (Black, Indigenous, Visible minorities, Youth, Seniors, and Newcomers). We aim to improve overall wellness for all people but primarily the BIPOC communities and other marginalized groups in Toronto and Durham Region who are often underrepresented and underserved within the health and fitness industry. CanStayFit was created to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in health, fitness, and nutrition.

Had a great time last Friday at the 3-on-3 tournament. Salute to and his team for this well organized and enjoyable event. It was good to see the community come out and support. This tournament raised funds to support the excellent work that they are doing with young people from all backgrounds. Check them out, and please consider supporting their initiatives.

My favorite part of having my own platform is to highlight the people who are making a positive impact with our youth.

Had a great discussion with Jermaine Myers from 3Crown Foundation. He is an elite coach and trainer who is doing fantastic work to help athletes achieve their health and performance goals.

He shared a bit about his journey to becoming a coach, his nonprofit organization, 3CrownFoundation, and his mentorship program, mainly for basketball players between grade 5 and university.
