Our Story
Serving the east GTA, the Thornton Cemetery is named after Reverend Robert H. Thornton, who was the first chairman of the Ontario County Board of Education. The grounds feature a tranquil pond, colourful flowerbeds and numerous birdhouses.
In addition to cemetery Ground Burial and the choice of Cremation with several memorial options, Funeral services including visitation, chapel services and reception facilities are provided by Thornton Funeral Centre and cremation services including witnessing capabilities are available at our state–of-the-art Cremation Centre.
