A Message from Dr. Brooks:
Many people have been asking, “When are you going to retire?”. After several decades of involvement with optometry, the time has come for me to turn the page and step into the next chapter of my life. It has been a fabulous journey which I have enjoyed.
From my early days in Waterloo to Scarborough and finally Oshawa, I have had the privilege of serving so many wonderful people. Along the way, I have experienced the highs of watching your families grow, including the care of your new grandchildren, and the challenges of navigating events like SARS and COVID-19. Through it all, I have been surrounded by supportive and talented individuals who have made it possible for my practice to function. To each of you , I owe a debt of gratitude.
The relationships I have built over the years have meant so much to me. It has been an honour to be entrusted with your vision care for which I sincerely thank you.
After December 19, 2024, I will be retiring from active practice. However I am pleased to leave you in the excellent hands of the team at Durham Vision Care. Your patient records with be maintained at 575 Thornton Rd N Unit 8B Oshawa. Dr. Abinaya Krishnamoorthy ,who leads this team, and Dr. Caitlyn P**n are not only passionate about eye care but experienced and extremely well qualified to continue to provide the care you have come to expect. Rebecca, Kefira, and Thiru are an outstanding team of support staff who you may call for any questions or concerns at 905-333-2900.
Once again, thank you to each and every one of you. It has been a pleasure to serve you over the years, and I shall miss you all. I am confident that your vision care will remain in capable hands.
