We hold events that will guide students towards being successful Medical Laboratory Technologists. Med Lab United (MLU) was reborn in the 2012-2013 School year at UOIT as a sub-society to the UOIT Health Science Council. The Health Science Council Executive chose Robert Gharbharan to be the President of MLU for that year. Under the guidance of Robert, MLU began to grow and became well recognized b
y the staff and students of the MLS Faculty. In the past events, such as Games Night and Prof Talks, have taken place to boost both the Social and Academic aspects to the Life of a Med Lab Student. This video was intended to be shown to all MLS students to encourage and inspire hardwork and having fun! MLU's main goals are to:
1. Promote Unity within the Medical Laboratory Science program
2. Exhibit the profession of Medical Laboratory Technologists
3. Provide Medical Laboratory Science students with events, both academic and social, which will further their knowledge and experience at UOIT
4. Actively promote the Medical Laboratory Science profession on campus and in the community
