The Little Things Matter Too 💕

Big moments are amazing—but it's the small, everyday gestures that truly keep love alive. 💌

💑 A good morning text.
💐 A surprise coffee.
📝 A sticky note with “I love you.”
🎶 Sharing your song on a random Tuesday.

These simple acts build connection, trust, and joy. Whether you're dating, married, or somewhere in between—never underestimate the power of tiny romantic moments. ❤️

✨ Today, do something small, sweet, and unexpected. Your relationship deserves it.

If you or someone you know is struggling with connection in relationships, contact me for counselling support. Email nicole@findingsolutionstogether.ca

🌿 Seeking Counselling for Someone You Love? Don’t Forget Yourself.

Supporting a loved one through addiction or mental health challenges can be incredibly brave—but also emotionally exhausting. If you’re reaching out for counselling on their behalf, here are a few things to keep in mind:

⚠️ Cautions & Considerations:

- Counselling is most effective when the person seeking help is willing and involved. Encourage and support them to seek counselling, but careful not to be too disappointed if they're not ready.

- You can’t "fix" someone else, even with the best intentions. You can however change yourself!

- Pushing someone into therapy before they’re ready can create resistance, not results.

💛 You Deserve Support Too
If you’re navigating someone else’s struggle, you might benefit from counselling just as much. Talking to a professional can help you:

* Set healthy boundaries

*Manage stress or burnout

* Understand how to truly support without losing yourself in the process

👉 It’s okay to care deeply about someone and still take care of yourself. Sometimes, the best way to help them… is to also help you. Reach out to nicole@findingsolutionstogether.ca to book a free consultation today!

🌟 "You don't have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you." — Dan Millman 🌟

Counseling is a safe space to be heard, to heal, and to grow. I use therapy models such as IFS, EMDR and EFT to help you gain control of your self, behaviour and emotions. And yes, I know it's a lot of acronyms!😄

You are not alone, and you don’t have to do this by yourself.
There is strength in asking for help and power in choosing support.

✨ Your journey to peace can start with one brave conversation. Contact nicole@findingsolutionstogether.ca to book a free consultation!

Discipline doesn’t have to mean disconnection.

Parenting is hard — especially when you're trying to break old cycles and raise your kids with more awareness, patience, and intention. If you're feeling stuck between yelling and giving in, you're not alone in that tension.

Counselling can help you:
🧠 Understand what’s really driving your child’s behavior
💬 Set clear, respectful boundaries
🛠 Learn discipline strategies that actually build trust
💚 Stay calm in the chaos (even when it’s loud and messy)

There’s no such thing as a perfect parent — but support can make a difference.

Love doesn’t come with a manual — but it can come with support. 💬💛

If you're in a relationship and care about making it work, couples counseling can help you build something real — not perfect, but healthy.

For young couples, therapy is a space to:
🔹 Communicate without shutting down or blowing up
🔹 Understand each other's needs and triggers
🔹 Navigate trust, boundaries, and future plans
🔹 Break patterns before they become habits

You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to check in with each other.

📍 Online or in person sessions available

Start investing in your relationship now, not after it’s in crisis.

Dads tend to be good at getting back their selves after children are born. Moms...you struggle more with this. Take a moment right now and remember what it is that made you feel alive, rejuvenated, excited, peaceful and YOU!

For me it's gardening including planting seeds in March. Even if they don't all succeed!😅

Our Story

My story began at a job that I truly believed in, but was ultimately not exactly what I was looking for. I found myself exhausted and uninspired. It took me 3 years but I realized I needed to chase my dream of helping people in my own way - counselling. After completing my Masters in Counselling Psychology I now work at Jeff Packer MSW & Associates Inc. supporting people through counselling. I love being able to support people in changing their mindset, lives and relationships.

You may be feeling uninspired in your life, maybe uninspired in a relationship, job, or within your self. You have the choice and opportunity to do something different today. I have helped clients problem solve in their life, reconnect as a couple, find trust and communication in relationships and challenge their own negative thoughts that are causing them to feel anxious, sad, unmotivated, exhausted or scared. You have the ability to create these changes as well and I’d be honoured to help you.
