Earth Day was first founded on April 22, 1970, and aims to educate and acknowledge the environmental movement around the world. There are many ways we can all help the planet, whether it be visiting your local park, educating yourself on climate change, or even planting a tree every small act creates change.

As Therapeutic Recreation Specialists we promote a holistic approach to living, and Earth Day strengthens the idea that a healthy environment supports healthy individuals.
