Dr. Theresa Lisk We provide Chiropractic & Acupuncture services to the population. As a Chiropractor, we are trained in treating the nervous system, muscles and joints.

At Dr. Theresa's Health Institute we offer both Chiropractic services and first aid/cpr training. We provide care to ensure your spine and body is functioning optimally. Chiropractors uses a specific and specialized hands on treatment called a Chiropractic Adjustment. The purpose of the adjustment is to remove any nervous interference caused by the mis-alignment, restoring the body’s nervous syste

m to its optimal level and enabling the body to restore its health. The wellness aspect of Chiropractic focuses on the maintenance and restoration of bodily functions (like regular tune ups for you car) thereby minimizing symptoms and optimizing health. Our First Aid & CPR Courses are geared towards Chiropractors, their office staff and other health care professionals. All courses are through the Red Cross and provide a three year certification. As activity levels increase, it’s important to keep your lower back mobile 🙌

The lumbar twist is a gentle stretch that helps improve spinal rotation, reduce muscle tension, and support overall movement 🧘‍♀️

This can be especially helpful if you sit for long periods or experience lower back stiffness.

How to perform:
✔️ Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the floor
✔️ Extend your arms out to the sides for support
✔️ Slowly lower both knees to one side, keeping shoulders grounded
✔️ Turn your head in the opposite direction (optional)

⏱ Hold for 20–30 seconds
🔁 Repeat 2–3 times per side

💡 Form tip:
Move slowly and with control. Keep it gentle, this should feel like a stretch, not pain.
