There are certain times in the year that psychologically inspire us to create movement or change in our lives.

September is one of those times. We have been attuned to "new starts" in September through school terms and season changes as it gives us a welcomed opportunity to ignite a "Reset" in our minds, if we need them!

Sounds simple when we break it down like this, but super easy to feel stuck at any one of these steps. Notice that there is no end to these steps. This doesn't mean that we never reach emotional regulation, it just means that it is a *Present Moment Practice* - and our present moments do not end. And when we are engaged mindfully and compassionately with that present moment, these steps flow within those moments as we practice them - and if we are flowing with the moments - we are not getting stuck where we are. πŸ™πŸ’œ

If we are numbing the pain - we are also numbing our capacity to feel joy.

Life itself is a sensory experience best received in as many present moments as we can tune into.

We can micro-dose reality by helping to create it and allow it to unfold through our awareness to it.

When we numb, we are trying to escape old narratives and inherited negative beliefs.
When we are present, our new beliefs - based on objective, authentic truth - anchor into our every day consciousness to transform the reality we escape into a reality we have always been capable of creating.

Be gentle with yourself. It happens present moment to present moment. It is safe to meet yourself there. πŸ™πŸΌ

We might pride ourselves on being a "multi-tasker" and doing many things on the go while working on a primary task/goal. Give yourself permission to STOP and choose one thing to do till its completion.

Where ever you are and whatever you are doing - be all there. You will notice a feeling of being refreshed after tasks and in more awareness of your energy; instead of putting your engine on autopilot until you run out of fuel in the middle of your to-do list. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’œ

In Astrology, each day of the week carries a symbolic energy that resonates with different planets in our universe. This energy does not "make" anything happen in your life - you are always invited to connect with the energy available and make things happen in your own life. We use the symbols around us to align with our highest, spiritual intentions. πŸ™

Planets & Days of the Week

Saturday/Saturn
​This is the best day to clear out the excesses and for chores around the house, as well as cleaning our mind and body with some form of cleansing. Appease Saturn and suffer voluntarily! Fasting allows you to experience limitation with a light touch and a clear mind. While you fast, you are detoxifying the body and clearing the mind to lighten up and refresh yourself for the week ahead. For those who need to keep an adequate amount of nutrients, a juice fast (though strictly not a fast) may be an alternative to a complete fast, although you would ideally use appropriate juices for your constitutional type. Alternatively, a half-fast may be observed. This may mean consuming light foods throughout the day or having a simple meal in the evening, avoiding heavy and stimulating foods throughout the day.
