✨ Exciting Update ✨

I’m happy to share that I am officially registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) after relocating to Ottawa! 🎉

This means I am now fully licensed to practice as a Registered Massage Therapist here in Ontario. Along with this, I am also officially registered with the Lymphedema Association of Ontario — allowing me to continue providing specialized care in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).

I’m grateful for this new chapter in Ottawa and excited to support the community with evidence-based, therapeutic, and compassionate care. 💙

More updates coming soon as I settle in, and I look forward to welcoming new patients in the near future!

🌿 New Chapter in Ottawa — What I’m Working On Right Now

It’s been a big month of change! I’ve officially settled into beautiful Ottawa, and while I get used to my new city (and the cold 😅), I’m also preparing the next steps of my professional journey.

Many of you have been asking when I’ll start accepting clients here. Right now, I’m in the process of transferring my professional license in Ontario — an important step to ensure I can continue providing safe, high-quality care in Massage Therapy, MLD, and CDT.

In the meantime, I’m:
✨ Getting to know the wellness community in Ottawa
✨ Setting up my professional materials and planning services
✨ Creating helpful lymphatic health + self-care content
✨ Exploring job opportunities in Ottawa
✨ Building a waitlist for when bookings open

Thank you for all the love, support, and patience you’ve shown me through this transition. I’m excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to share more updates soon.

Stay tuned — Ottawa, I’m looking forward to meeting you! 🤍

🌿 Early Signs of Lymphedema You Shouldn’t Ignore

Lymphedema often develops gradually — and the earlier it’s detected, the better it can be managed. Watch out for these first warning signs:

✨ A feeling of heaviness or tightness in your arm or leg
✨ Swelling that comes and goes (especially at the end of the day)
✨ Rings, sleeves, or shoes feeling tighter than usual
✨ Aching or discomfort in the affected area
✨ Skin feeling thicker or firmer

💧 Early intervention can make a big difference in preventing progression. If you notice these symptoms, consult a healthcare professional or a Certified Lymphedema Therapist for assessment and guidance.

🌨️ Winter Self-Care Tips to Keep You Feeling Your Best ❄️

Cold weather can tighten muscles, slow circulation, and make your body crave extra care. Here are a few ways to support yourself this season:

💆‍♀️ Book a massage – Ease muscle tension, boost circulation, and melt away stress.
💧 Stay hydrated – The air is drier in winter, so your body and skin need extra water.
🧘‍♀️ Stretch & move daily – Gentle movement keeps your lymphatic system active and joints happy.
🛁 Warm baths with Epsom salt – Great for soothing sore muscles and promoting relaxation.
🥗 Eat nourishing foods – Soups, stews, and herbal teas support your immune and digestive systems.
😴 Rest well – Give your body time to recharge and repair.

✨ Remember: self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s essential for staying healthy and balanced through the colder months.

🌿 10 Signs Your Lymphatic System May Be Sluggish 🌿

Your lymphatic system plays a vital role in detoxification, immunity, and fluid balance. When it’s not functioning properly, your body may show early warning signs such as:

1️⃣ Persistent fatigue or low energy
2️⃣ Puffiness or swelling (especially in arms, legs, or face)
3️⃣ Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
4️⃣ Frequent colds or infections
5️⃣ Skin issues like acne, dullness, or rashes
6️⃣ Stiffness or soreness in the morning
7️⃣ Unexplained weight gain or fluid retention
8️⃣ Cellulite that seems to worsen
9️⃣ Digestive sluggishness or bloating
🔟 Enlarged lymph nodes or tenderness

💧 A healthy lymphatic system keeps everything flowing — movement, deep breathing, hydration, and lymphatic drainage therapy can make a big difference!

✨ Take care of your lymphatic health — your body will thank you!
