A little about me!

First and foremost, I am a "Wellpreneur," i.e. I am passionate and slightly obsessed with creating businesses that bring people experiences that will transform their well-being.

In 2007, I started my career as a naturopathic doctor. I am the founder and director of the Somerset Health and Wellness Center. After nearly two decades in practice, I decided to combine my passion for clay with my expertise as a naturopathic doctor and clinic owner!

In 2023, I took a leap of faith and left my naturopathic practice and took on the role as CEO of Hintonburg Pottery Studio. At the same time, I partnered with Ginger McCoy (owner of Hintonburg Pottery) to open earthen vessels. Earthen vessels is a beautiful pottery "wellness" studio like no other! Ginger and Jennifer shared a mutual vision for a clay studio that focused on the therapeutic benefits of clay. At earthen vessels, we focus on the process of working with the clay and not the end product. We facilitate transformative workshops where people gather to deepen their inner journey through the medium of clay.

You can read the full story of my journey to clay here:

Changing careers and managing 3 businesses has been exhilarating, challenging and overall an incredible experience. The only thing I love more than seeing people transform their health is helping to build teams at work that are engaged, loving and supportive of each other. I am a huge fan of the 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership and this is how I approach everything in my life. ✨️

Now go play with some clay and have some fun 😉
