It’s important to get your flu shot.

Starting November 1, flu shots will be available through your health care provider, public health unit and in participating pharmacies. Individuals 5+ can safely get a flu shot at the same time or before/after a COVID-19 vaccine.

Seniors and those at higher risk of complications from the flu can get their flu shot from participating health care providers and pharmacies now.

Individuals 65+ may receive a flu vaccine targeted for them. Receiving a flu shot soon is more important than waiting for a type.

Eligible individuals can book an appointment at a recommended interval of six months at:

Starting September 26, Ontario will begin to offer the bivalent COVID-19 vaccine to all Ontarians aged 18+ at an interval of six months.

As of this date, all COVID-19 vaccine booster dose appointments for individuals 18+ will be for the bivalent vaccine.

As of 8:00 a.m. today, appointments can be booked for dates on or after September 26

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization has confirmed that a mixed vaccine schedule is safe and is effective at protecting you and your loved ones from COVID-19.

The best vaccine for your second dose is the vaccine that is available first.

If you had Moderna or Pfizer for your first dose you can safely take either for your second. If you had AstraZeneca for your first dose you can safely take AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer for your second.
