The weather feels a little bit like my mind at the moment: all over the place 😂
In the last week, we had a couple days of beautiful spring weather, followed by an ice storm, followed by a snowstorm and now it’s back to warm-ish but with rain 😵‍💫
Of course, when we realized it was sticky snow falling, we had to get outside and make just one more snowman. Luckily we hadn’t put our too far away 🧣

It’s finally here; the Morning Tide Blanket Scarf!
This color-blocked, fully reversible scarf is knit flat from end to end and designed as a palate cleanser project, the kind that fits into quiet mornings, evening unwinds and those in-between moments 🫶🏼
I chose a recycled fiber yarn for this design and it did not disappoint, who knew eco-friendliness also had the dreamiest haze and created such a soft beautiful fabric!?

I’ve been wearing this one on repeat for the last few weeks and it’s been the perfect accessory to keep me warm during the extreme colds we’ve been having.

I’ve been working on this blanket scarf for just over 3 months now, slowly and intentionally. Don’t get me wrong, I love a quick project but with life going a million miles an hour, there’s something charming about having a slower, more time-intensive project on the go.
I’ll remember working on this one through the fall and winter, between weekend swim lessons, on drives to go work/remove snow at the cottage & during the rare few times that toddler and baby naps magically align and the house is quiet 🥰

In the midst of everything happening in the world right now, taking a moment to slow down and make meaningful memories with our kids helps put a little balm on all the heaviness 🫶🏼
The knit works up in less than 1.5 hours, fits snowmans (or snowwomans) of all shapes & sizes and will be sure to bring so joy to everyone around ☃️🧣
