Obsessed with the easy repeats and fun stripes on this scarf. The nerd in me just LOVES a project I can quantify in some form and in this case… 3 stripes a day has been my goal. 🤓 Now don’t be fouled I’ve had to play catch up a few times already… especially on Mondays but knowing exactly how many stripes I need to make to « catch-up » has been oddly satisfying.
🧶: Wool-Ease Roving Origins which is a worsted weight made from 100% traceable wool that has an amazing squish factor.

Car-ride knitting is my version of a spa day at the moment 🚗💛
I’ve only been working on this blanket scarf when I get to play passenger princess. This stitch is simple enough not to get carsick (no need to look down constantly) but interesting enough not to get bored. If I could just stop pausing to pet this Re-Make yarn, I’m sure I could make quicker progress, but I’m not mad about it. 🧶✨

Our cat loves snuggling on the throw at the foot of our bed 🐈‍⬛ When it came time to upgrade my son from his crib to his big-boy bed, I made him a colourful, cozy bed runner —somewhere soft for the cat to sleep and super easy to wash for me!
This pattern features simple cables, bold ribbing, and clean edges. Knit with super bulky yarn, it’s a fast, satisfying project for any skill level (it looks way more complicated than it is to make).

Over here, Saturday mornings are for swim lessons and new cast ons 😊
I’d never used or even seen Re-Make in person before they send me some and it is so much better than I could have imagined. It is worsted weight, made of 100% recycled content and is super soft! Plus, the yarn has a little haze to it that reminds me of mohair 🤩
I’m only a couple rows in at the moment but I’m already obsessed!!

My first market of the season the is only 3 days away! Loveys needed to be re-stocked which was the perfect excuse to finally make this super sweet trash bandit 🦝 I’d been eyeing. Of course I couldn’t stop at just one so there will be 3 of these available on Saturday 🥰

Weaving in the ends is not my favorite part of a project but seeing the clean edge I get as a result is oddly satisfying! I can’t wait to start using this blanket 🥰

There’s something about making striped blankets that is just magical ✨ You tell yourself you should stop to go do (insert whatever else you should be doing at that moment) but who stops midstripe? Enter the “I’m just gonna finish this stripe” quickly followed by the “I’m just gonna attach the next color to see how it looks” which brings you right back to the “I’m just gonna finish this stripe” and the circle just keeps going and going 😅
It’s even more addicting when the colored striped are all texture and fun stitches 😁
