The weather is changing rapidly, just like my emotions 😮‍💨🥰🙃

Even when life is hard, heavy, and unsettling - there is always so much to hold gratitude for. Can you share one of your moments with me? ⬇️⬇️

Or one of my favourites.. having your arms up will tangle the umbilical cord around the baby’s neck 😑

Let’s retire these hilarious claims 😂 👏🏼

❌ “Don’t workout while pregnant.”
Movement is actually encouraged in healthy pregnancies and can support strength, mood, sleep, labour prep + recovery. The key? Modify when needed, listen to your body, and work WITH it — not against it.

❌ “Spicy food is dangerous.”
Nope. Spicy food is generally safe in pregnancy unless it’s causing you discomfort like heartburn or indigestion. Your baby isn’t sitting there sweating and it isn’t harmful🌶️😂

❌ “You can’t eat fish.”
Fish can be an amazing source of protein + omega-3s for baby’s brain development. The evidence-based piece? Be mindful of high mercury fish and choose lower mercury options like salmon, trout, shrimp, sardines, and cod.

❌ “No coffee allowed.”
You do not need to give up your morning joy!!! Come on now!! Current guidelines support moderate caffeine intake in pregnancy - generally up to 200mg/day (about 1 medium coffee depending on strength).

Evidence matters… but so does intuition. Pregnancy is not about fear, perfection, or policing every bite and movement. It’s about learning to trust your body, staying informed, and making choices from a grounded place 💗💗

And I just want to remind you it’s ok to give yourself and show yourself that love that you need and deserve. Tomorrow is just one day. Don’t forget the appreciation that is shown throughout the year. This one day doesn’t define your worth as a mother or as a woman.

You always matter, PERIOD! No one can replace YOU! If you truly understand that about yourself you won’t put too much weight on one day.

6 weeks post-op and this one felt different.

I’ve been carrying a lot mentally lately. Processing news that’s been heavy, sitting with emotions I don’t always have words for, and leaning into my circle quietly while I work through it all. Some seasons aren’t meant to be loud.. they’re meant to be felt, slowly and honestly.

Today’s physio session brought me back to something simple but powerful: my breath. My alignment. The small, intentional cues that remind my body it’s safe, supported, and capable of healing.

It’s easy to put self-care on the back burner when life feels heavy. But this is your reminder (and mine) that these are the moments we need it the most. Caring for your body isn’t separate from your mental health - it’s deeply connected. Especially when it comes to pelvic health, where so much tension, stress, and emotion can live without us even realizing it.

Healing isn’t just physical. It’s layered. It’s emotional. It’s ongoing.

If you’re walking through a hard season right now - keep showing up for yourself in the smallest ways. Your future self will thank you for it.

✨ If this resonates, share this with someone who needs the reminder, or save it for a day when you need it most. And if you’ve been putting off taking care of yourself..this is your sign to book the appointment, go to the session, take the walk. Start somewhere!!!!
