On May 14, 2026, golfers, partners, and supporters will hit the links at Stonebridge Golf Club for the Kiwanis Capital Prosperity Foundation Golf Tournament. Nutrition Blocs is proud to be one of this year’s beneficiaries.

It promises a great day of friendly competition, good company, and positive impact for children facing food insecurity. Every swing, putt, mulligan, and post-round conversation will help support the delivery of nutritious meals to school-aged children across Ottawa.

That is the beauty of a community event like this. It is not just about golf. It is about showing up for kids and helping create lasting change.

No child should sit in a classroom wondering when their next meal is coming. But in Ottawa, 40,000 children face that reality every day. Nutrition Blocs is trying to change that with consistent, nutritious meals. School-aged children become more energized, engaged, and full of potential when they know where their next meal is coming from.
When children can consistently count on food, anything feels possible.
Help us make this a reality.: www.NutritionBlocs.org

As we head into Good Friday and Easter break, with remembrance and celebration, here is a touching story of celebrating legacy.

Today, the Nanduri family in Ottawa made a donation in loving memory of Dr. Rao Nanduri, a beloved father and husband, a thoughtful leader, a mentor to many, and a true community champion in the Indian diaspora. This thoughtful gesture resulted in serving a hot and nutritious school lunch to 100 school-aged children living in family shelters.

Each week, Nutrition Blocs serves over 2000 hot and culturally appropriate school lunches and after-school dinners, providing essential nourishment to the most vulnerable children in our community.

For $5, you can help. 5$ will provide a child with a nourishing meal and the energy to learn, grow, and simply be a kid.
It’s a small act, but it has a big impact. Donate now at www.NutritionBlocs.org

For just $5, you can give a child a hot meal and the fuel they need to learn, grow, and thrive. No child should have to choose between hunger and education.

When students aren’t in school, they are often left to fend for themselves in the evenings. Nutrition Blocs collaborates with the Vanier Community Centre on the Youth Drop-In program, which helps teens stay active, safe, and supported during critical hours. Nutrition Blocs fuels this program by providing culturally sensitive and nutritious meals, allowing teens to focus on what matters. Being active, safe, and having fun!
Please help us feed more school-aged children at ALL hours of the day. Donate at www.NutritionBlocs.org

For a school-aged child, nutrition is the foundation for focus, confidence, and academic success. That’s why Nutrition Blocs partners with the Carlington SWAG program. For many families, March Break is a time to rest, travel, and enjoy a break from routine. But for thousands of school-aged children in Ottawa, there is no break from food insecurity.
Even during March break, Nutrition Blocs continues to work alongside volunteers and community partners to ensure that children across our city have access to nourishing meals.

Because of our community of donors, children can return to the classroom ready to learn, grow, and thrive.

Hunger doesn’t take a break, and neither do we.

Your gift of $25 provides five hot meals to a child who might otherwise go hungry any time of year. Every meal helps fuel a future. https://nutritionblocs.org/donate/

What an incredible daytime event.

We were honoured to be invited as the charity beneficiary of the She Shops Local International Women’s Day Networking Event at the National Arts Centre, centred around a simple but powerful idea. Kindness.

The room was filled with women who are building businesses, supporting one another, and strengthening our community at the same time. The energy in the room was something special.

A heartfelt thank you to She Shops Local, the National Arts Centre, and everyone who stopped by, bought cake, asked questions, and supported Nutrition Blocs. Your generosity helps ensure school-aged children in our community have access to the hot nutritious meals they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
