Thank you to everyone who participated in our Touch The Earth "Open Like a Bowl" mindful clay workshop on Sunday! This was our first time running this workshop and we are so happy that everyone enjoyed it!

"Open Like A Bowl" is the second workshop in the Touch the Earth series. In this workshop, we explored the themes of being "open" to new experiences and possibilities, just like a bowl 🥣.

Our participants had amazing feedback, here is what Laura shared with us:

"I was fortunate to attend a workshop at Earthen Vessel this past Sunday. I have never had an experience like it. The workshop focused on clay as a vehicle of intention and mindfulness. It was three hours of joy, restoration and peace. Mary and Ginger created such a loving and gentle vibe. While the focus was not on producing a piece, the creative energy and flow in the room resulted in bowls that reflected who we were as participants. Highly recommend"

OPEN HOUSE

On September 30th, from 6:00-7:00 PM, we will open our doors to showcase our earthen vessel space and answer any questions you may have. Come take a tour, say hello and meet your newest neighbor.

CLAY MEDITATION

At 7:00 PM, in honor of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we will be hosting a free clay meditation. Clay is from the earth, and so is each of us. By connecting with the clay and creating a pinch pot, we embrace the idea that we are all part of one planet, one body of people.

We invite you to join us at earthen vessels studio for an earth meditation. We will each form a clay pot using the ancient technique of using our hands, connecting with our senses

We will be accepting donations to Minwaashin Lodge

Now Booking! Our Mindful Clay Workshops (Touch The Earth) are offered a few times a month (evenings and weekends).

Spots are limited, so we can offer you a uniquely personal experience with clay (only 9 participants per workshop)

Each workshop is 3 hrs long to allow for group sharing and plenty of time for creating something special with clay.

Earthen Vessels is now open! We have opened our studio doors at 36 Rosemount Ave in Ottawa!

We have spent months renovating to create a beautiful, warm, and welcoming studio located right next to in the heart of

Many of you in the neighborhood have wandered by the studio, wondering what we were creating. We are excited to share what we are all about.

earthen vessels clay studio is a warm and welcoming space where we come together to explore both playfully and mindfully our connections to self, earth and community to help gain insight into our personal life experiences.

Earthen Vessels is the creation of 2 like-minded business owners- Ginger McCoy and Jennifer Luck.

Ginger is the owner of and Jennifer is the owner of Somerset Health and WellnessCenter

Ginger and Jennifer shared a vision for a clay studio where the focus would be on the process and not on the final product.  Where people could gather to play with clay and embark on an inner journey of self-discovery in community with others. 

Our first workshop is coming up in August, we look forward to seeing you there!
