Je souhaite vous partager une nouvelle personnelle qui pourrait affecter mes disponibilités au cours des prochaines semaines. Un membre très proche de ma famille traverse actuellement une maladie grave, et j’ai besoin d’être présente pour l’accompagner, tout en continuant à m’occuper de nos deux jeunes enfants.

Mon horaire sera donc réduit temporairement. Je continuerai à voir un nombre limité de clients, en priorisant ceux en traitement actif ou nécessitant un suivi. N’hésitez pas à me contacter pour des ajustements ou pour prendre rendez-vous — je ferai de mon mieux pour répondre rapidement et vous accommoder.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share a personal update that may affect my availability over the coming weeks. A close family member is currently facing a very serious illness, and I am needing to be present to support them through this time, while also caring for our two young children.

As a result, my schedule will be more limited than usual. I’ll continue seeing a reduced number of clients, prioritizing those currently in active treatment or needing follow-up care. If you’re trying to book or need to adjust an appointment, feel free to reach out — I’ll do my best to respond promptly and accommodate where possible.

When doing an exercise, the goal is intention. What is the objectif of your exercise? We are not perfect, so the goal is not perfection, but improvement. If you leave your time with me and you’re moving better than when you came in with a better understanding of how to accomplish that motion, that makes 2 happy people….you and me!

There are all kinds of therapies out there. Right now kickboxing is therapy to me. It allows me to follow a path to a better self. It makes me feel strong and empowered, I get to spend time with my cousin, I get to use my brain to study and practice something new and I get to sweat out my frustrations. I’m currently injured since last Sunday. I cannot run right now which is very hard for me because I love running and it helps me a lot for my mental health. I can walk, however, so this morning my dog and I went for a beautiful 40min walk. I’m maintaining the motions and I am able to do!

I’m an early morning runner! So this morning was the first run of the season outside. Happy to see the sun is now waking up at the same time as me! I was only able to get in a short run this morning, but I made time for me and that’s what’s important. Today will be a better day because of that. Don’t forget to prioritize you and your health today.

A little quad soreness from my run yesterday. So I made sure to stretch today. I have a tendency to have an exaggerated lordosis, so I tucked my tailbone down, kept my knees aligned in the same plane and felt a nice stretch in my quad and psoas. How do you stretch your quads?

Veuillez être très prudent lorsque vous vous promenez à l’extérieur aujourd’hui. La stabilité, l’agilité et la conscience du corps seront très important aujourd’hui. Cependant, il arrive que des accidents se produisent malgré le temps et les efforts que nous consacrons à leur prévention. Le bon côté des choses, cependant, est que lorsque nous avons travaillé sur la prévention des blessures, notre récupération après une blessure peut être plus rapide!

Please be very careful when walking outside today. Stability, agility and body awareness will come into play today. Although, sometimes accidents can still happen regardless of the time and effort we put into preventing them. The upside, however, is that when we’ve worked on injury prevention, the recovery can be that much quicker!

Il y a trois ans, Laurence a été recrutée par le Comité Olympique Canadien. « Mon poste est coordonnatrice à l’intégration des grands jeux. Je m’occupe de la coordination médicale pour les grands jeux auxquels les athlètes canadiens participent! » ⛷️
