Yesterday evening a young lady that has called upon me for my consults, texted me in the afternoon and seemed to really hope I could receiver her that evening. I could. She had found me here on my page last fall after many months of being on her own here in Montreal, she had come here by herself from a small town in South-America where she lived with her two elderly parents. She walked by her self from her country, crossed borders and asked for refugee status to escape the violence. In her mid to late twenties and starting to learn the language and to navigate on her own this wholly new place and ways.
I listen to her as she mostly just needs an impartial and empathetic ear. I encouraged her as she could be reminded of her great courage and that she is never alone in this, she like all of us are accompanied by our ancestors and of the spirit of life that created us to explore. We ask the cards a few questions, they reminded her of her great ability to trust and that it has gotten her this far and can be a buoyant force in her life always. I made her laugh to remind her that life is funny too and that the cosmic joke is just around the corner waiting to make us giggle as soon as possible. I gave her a long and motherly hug to remind her of that feeling of being protected where ever or when ever she may be.
She might need this reminder and as we all do, the reminders are there for us when we are ready and since emphasis is key to positive brain washing.
You are also loved, never alone and your trust can take you further then ever.
