What an unforgettable day in the kitchen! We just hosted our very first Chopped-style cooking competition, and the energy, creativity, and fun were absolutely off the charts.
Our talented chefs were faced with the ultimate culinary challenge: each had to create both an appetizer and an entrée featuring not one, but seven surprise ingredients—Jicama, cotton candy, Belgian waffles, g*i lan, rainbow carrots, bone marrow, and bone-in pork chops! Talk about thinking outside the recipe book!
Chef Deanna and Chef Tyler both wowed us with their extraordinary dishes, dazzling the judges with innovative flavors and impressive technique. The competition was so fierce that our judges had an incredibly tough decision to make. In the end, it came down to just 2 points—an incredibly close margin!
A huge congratulations to Chef Deanna, who claimed the coveted Top Banana Prize! We’re so proud of both chefs for their amazing performances and can’t wait to see what’s whipped up next time.
