Great morning at the Y! Felt good getting strength back into my routine. As much as I love being outdoors, hiking, yoga, cycling…. Strength should always be a priority!

Oh and I’m trying to change one bad habit. I’ve been working outside all afternoon, hot, dirty, hungry….
I’d normally grab cheese and crackers. Go nuts!

But…… a huge glass of water , I’m likely dehydrated. And the fastest, higher protein, less empty calorie snack? Rice cake / cottage cheese/ everything bagel seasoning. I’d love some cucumber with this, but I’m all out.

Please share your favourite 😊quick!!! Easy!!! Simple!! Healthier snacks when you aren’t “ prepared”…

After dinner walk, early to bed as I have a great day planned tomorrow!
7 am Hike up blue mountain. Yoga, soundbath meditation, light breakfast…. Back down. 😊💓

Maintaining life balance and happiness is essential!
What a wonderful weekend! Incorporating Pilates, hiking, walking, climbing, socializing, live music, friendships, and fine dining! And nothing compares to a morning hike with neighbors, followed by a Botox session and lunch ($5 pinot grigio on Mondays at Fish n Sips, an unbeatable offer!), all while my vehicle was being meticulously detailed! Thank you! 🙏🏻 loving Collingwood!

Oh! And I ordered a new cute bicycle today! Exciting! 😍

Here is my review of Everlove

Friendly people… they were selling cute swimsuits and exercise clothing outside.

Perrier with cucumbers/ fruit as you walk in. ( nice touch)

It’s a unique large older home, made into a cute studio.
Upstairs you have a lounge…. Help yourself to drinks, snacks.. hang out.. quiet rooms , sauna, cold plunge. Weight area… showers….
Class started at 11 am sharp. Full house, door locked. No late comers.
The studio was lit by candlelight. Dark… Original wooden floors… loved it!

It was crowded ( that was my only complaint)
btw-does anyone work in Collingwood??? lol 😆

Average age there- 30’s… but all ages.

Class format was a mix of fast yoga/ barre/ pilates/ pyometrics/ strength.. loud music, tempo on point with the music…. Excellent instructor to keep you moving and motivated.

Left completely drenched. Feeling good!
Mirrors all fogged up… staff came in with a mop and bucket to clean the floor as the next class was waiting to come in….

Great vibe! Cute place next door called “Somewhere Inn “ Collingwood. Affiliated with the studio.. outdoor yoga from 3:30-4:30 - happy hour starts at 4. Vinyl mixer at 4:30. 🎶

But first! Tennis! 🎾

My Story

My past- I was a Registered Nurse that worked with the dying, palliative care. I retired from Nursing 17 yrs ago now- to raise my children and that was where I began to fall in love with Health, Food and Fitness.

I became a Group Fitness Instructor, then onto a Personal Trainer, via the YMCA, where I continue to Volunteer as a Group Cycle Instructor every Friday morning. I have been in the Fitness Industry for almost 7 years now. WOW! Time flies!

Education and continuously learning new things excites me- I took a few more courses over the years. Yoga- level 1- POUND Pro, Tabata Bootcamp, Kettlebells and my biggest accomplishment-I became a Spartan SGX Coach. I keep ALL of my credentials up to date each year. Something I value. My clients are important to me, and I must give them my 100% ( I tend to feel like a mama bird!) but I LOVE seeing success and growth in others. The whole package. Physically, Mentally, Emotionally.

My other passion is FOOD and cooking - so I love to create new recipes and find the best way to make a meal as healthy as possible, without losing flavour and keeping it exciting to the taste buds. I love wine and travel. Finding a balance is key! Living life, but also living healthy. I am happy to excited to help others do the same!
