My Story
My past- I was a Registered Nurse that worked with the dying, palliative care. I retired from Nursing 17 yrs ago now- to raise my children and that was where I began to fall in love with Health, Food and Fitness.
I became a Group Fitness Instructor, then onto a Personal Trainer, via the YMCA, where I continue to Volunteer as a Group Cycle Instructor every Friday morning. I have been in the Fitness Industry for almost 7 years now. WOW! Time flies!
Education and continuously learning new things excites me- I took a few more courses over the years. Yoga- level 1- POUND Pro, Tabata Bootcamp, Kettlebells and my biggest accomplishment-I became a Spartan SGX Coach. I keep ALL of my credentials up to date each year. Something I value. My clients are important to me, and I must give them my 100% ( I tend to feel like a mama bird!) but I LOVE seeing success and growth in others. The whole package. Physically, Mentally, Emotionally.
My other passion is FOOD and cooking - so I love to create new recipes and find the best way to make a meal as healthy as possible, without losing flavour and keeping it exciting to the taste buds. I love wine and travel. Finding a balance is key! Living life, but also living healthy. I am happy to excited to help others do the same!
