VERY SH*TTY NEWS INCOMING: Hi friends! It’s been awhile and I’ve been pretty silent on here the past few weeks. I’m just going to get to the point, unfortunately I am going to have to close my Owen Sound location effective immediately. I have been dreaming about this space and having something to call my own for a long time. Who knew that the costs to operate a business in a house you own but do not live in would be so astronomical?! I have many many feelings and emotions about this but ultimately it’s just not in the cards for this space. I’m trusting that the universe has something bigger and better to offer. I sincerely apologize to all of my clients. I will be canceling all upcoming appointments until I can find another space or figure out a plan that works. If you have a gift certificate that you haven’t used yet please reach out through DM and we will work something out. Fall is a time for change and I’m going to try my hardest to embrace this. I’m wishing you all well and thanks so much for your support. This is a temporary bump in the road and just to reiterate I am not closing JadeStone down, just making some new plans for the future.

Giving myself hugs today! On Monday I had the opportunity to participate in Sacred Kambo Ceremony with a group of incredibly courageous women. Thank you to for introducing me to the healing medicine of the frog. Ash is an incredibly compassionate healer. I felt safe and loved throughout the entire ceremony.

My intentions for the ceremony were to let go and invite flow into my life. Today I’m feeling connected to the earth and all of the people that I love. Special thanks also to and I’m so grateful for the connection and beautiful space that was provided for ceremony.

Exciting new things are coming to JadeStone Holistic Wellness in the near future! Anyone in Owen Sound interested in breathwork and intentional cold exposure?

I’m still processing this past weekend spent with the most INSPIRATIONAL individuals. Thank you everyone for being so vulnerable and for your incredible kindness and open hearts. So many things came up for me this past weekend. It was a tough pushing my body and mind to the limit but what came out of it was a deep connection to my soul. To say that going to SHERPA Breath and Cold training, with 12 other strangers, was out of my comfort zone is an understatement. My body shook with all the nervousness and anxiety of being in a strange place with people I didn’t know. But, over the weekend I could feel my body and mind reconnecting on a deep level. I achieved my goals by doing the opposite of what you may think. I achieved my goals by just simply LETTING GO. Something that I need to do more of in this chaotic world we are currently living in. My heart is completely full 🧡

Last evening I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely client who is bed bound at the Owen Sound Hospital. Her daughter reached out with a special request for a massage for her mom. I really enjoyed connecting with a patient, being able to spend quality time with her and helping to make her feel more relaxed and comfortable. These precious moments of connection were not an option while I was nursing. This is why I love what I do!

What is a Hot JadeStone Massage? PLUS ***book an appointment before the end of February and get a 75 minute massage for the price of 60 minutes***

Hot stone massage is a ancient practice that uses smooth heated stones like basalt (or in my case jade) to massage the body instead of using hands. It’s a gentle version of massage that uses the heat to deeply relax the muscles. The jade stones are hand carved in various shapes and sizes to fit different areas of the body. Jade is a semi-precious gemstone that has many healing properties on its own.

The stones are heated anywhere from 110 to 130 degrees, which may sound hot, but is the perfect temperature to relax the body and the mind without burning the skin. Nourishing handcrafted oils are applied to the body and the jade stones are used to massage them in. Take your massage to next level relaxation with my highly adored cannabis/frankincense infused massage oil! I also offer other oils blends or can accommodate clients with allergies if needed.

What can a hot stone massage do for you?
Primary benefits are increasing relaxation, promoting a restful sleep and reducing muscle tension. But, there are many more benefits to a hot jade massage. It also supports the body’s natural detoxification process, increases blood flow, circulation and lymphatic flow. It alleviates stress and anxiety and can allow you to fall into a deep meditative state while on the massage table.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank everyone who has stuck by me these past few months. Slowing things down to be with family was much needed!

For those of you who don’t know I’m Stacey, owner of JadeStone Holistic Wellness in Owen Sound. I’m 44, a wife and mother of two awesome boys, a spicy dog named Livvy, cat named Eugene and a fish named Jason! I’m passionate about mental health and I love spending time hiking on the trail or spending some grounding time in nature.
I spent 14 years working as a nurse (which was a huge eye opener) until a serious case of burnout and loss of faith in the system took me on a new path in 2022. I started this business as a way of connecting and healing with people on a holistic level. I still care for people very much and miss nursing but I no longer wish to practice in the way that I was.

What can I offer you? My Hot Jade Stone massages are not just a massage..I like to refer to them as a holistic healing experience. The heat paired with massage will take you away to another place… maybe even another planet! The hot stones are extremely relaxing, grounding and gently work to alleviate your aches and pains. You will feel loved and cared for, like being wrapped in a warm embrace.
