Last night, our Board of Directors had the privilege of presenting $470,000 to Brightshores Health System; funds made possible by the incredible generosity of our community.

Every gift, large or small, helps ensure that people across Grey and Bruce have access to the equipment and care they deserve, close to home. Together, we’re making a real impact in the lives of families, friends, and neighbours.

This moment is a reminder of the power of community spirit and what can be achieved when we work together. While this funding is significant, it represents just a portion of what is needed each year to keep pace with healthcare demands. For the second weekend in a row, NeighbourWoods North volunteers have been busy clearing a walking trail at the Brightshores Owen Sound hospital.

Over the next six weeks, new plantings and connections to the larger trail system will create a healthier forest and a welcoming outdoor space for patients, staff and visitors to enjoy.
