🌟 We had a very special visitor today! While it wasn't Santa, he was pretty close. 🎅 Ron Charlton has been a generous supporter of Chapman House since 2016. After quitting smoking, he decided to donate the money he would have spent on ci******es back to us. With several family members and friends having used hospice care, Ron’s contributions mean the world. To date, he has donated over $38,000! Thank you, Ron, for your incredible generosity and support! ❤️

💙✨ LOVE WINS AT CHAPMAN HOUSE ✨💙

This Valentine’s Day, resident Ron celebrated the Chapman House way—surrounded by warmth, laughter, and heartfelt connection with volunteer Brenda by his side. Later, smiles were shared with Sunny the Hospice Helper Dog, and a little Buffalo Bills spirit courtesy of Clinical Care Coordinator Ann Elford, made the day even brighter. Moments like these beautifully capture what hospice care is all about: joy, connection, and love in the moments that matter most.

These meaningful moments—both big and small—are made possible every day at Grey Bruce Hospice through the generosity of our community. The Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation’s Love Wins at Chapman House End of Year Campaign is committed to creating and protecting more experiences like Ron’s—filled with companionship, dignity, comfort, and, above all, love.

💙 When you give, you help love win—every single time.

Donation Message from Executive Director

URGENT HELP NEEDED A Message from the Executor Director of the Grey-Bruce Hospice: I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and in good health. As essential service providers, we are closely following all of the government Coronavirus guidelines for the safety of our residents, families, employees and the Grey-Bruce Community. The Grey-Bruce Hospice is a vitally important service in our community and we need your help to assist with the financial challenge we face during the Coronavirus outbreak.

We are asking for donations to help support our Grey Bruce Community Hospice via our fundraising page.

If you are not able to donate, we understand it's a difficult time and ask you to further the cause by sharing our message with friends and family. This unprecedented time has created plenty of concerns for individuals and businesses who struggle to make ends meet and to pay their bills. Many not-for-profit organizations like ours have also been impacted with the struggle to safely deliver essential services. As The Grey-Bruce Hospice was built by our community for our community, our funds are only raised within our community.

That is why the greatest challenge facing The Grey Bruce Hospice during the Coronavirus outbreak is our inability to do our regular fundraising activities. Activities like Casino Night at Legacy Ridge and Hike for Hospice that raise 200k+ per year. What you may not know is that these funds are essential to cover 51% of our costs which are not covered by the government. Meeting our fundraising goals allows us to ease the final journey of over 750 within our community since our doors opened.
