Time to celebrate osteopathy!

As an Osteopathic International Alliance (OIA) member, we celebrate the annual World Osteopathic Healthcare Week.

The OIA was founded in 2004 to bring together the two streams of the profession: osteopathic physicians and osteopaths. The Alliance comprises 76 member organizations from all over the world. It unifies osteopathic medicine and osteopathy by connecting schools, regulatory bodies, and regional, national, and multi-country groups.

Osteopathic International Alliance is the only osteopathic organization in official relations with the World Health Organization. It has been part of the Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) unit since 2018.

Day 4. Today I am grateful for more snow! Hoping we’ll be able to get out on our cross-country skis or fat bikes soon. I’m grateful for the physical strength to wield the snowblower and shovel - the snow is heavy! And I’m grateful I found my snow pants. 😃

Toronto life! It’s been nearly four years since I moved to Owen Sound. So much has changed, yet so much feels the same.
It’s been an absolute joy catching up with friends and immersing myself in all that the big city has to offer.
I’ve walked everywhere, as I always did when I lived here—people-watching, shopping and eating!
Tonight, I enjoyed fresh oysters and edamame at . From my seat at the bar, I could see St James Park and, beyond that, the office where I worked as a media planner at half a lifetime ago!
I miss the quiet of my rural city, though, and I’m looking forward to returning home…
