Palmerston has a proud history of service — of courage, sacrifice, and strength that runs deep through our small town.

We pause today to remember them.

The sun’s out and Palmerston is thriving today — perfect excuse to stroll the tracks, hit up the Railway Museum, and soak up that fall glow. And hey… if you just so happen to “need” a frappe to make the most of that sunshine? We won’t judge. We’ll probably be doing the same thing.

Swing by and grab a poppy, snag your ticket to the Remembrance Day dinner at the Legion at 6 PM, and don’t miss the service at the cenotaph at 11 AM (followed by a light lunch at the Legion—because even reflection works up an appetite).

Well, it happened. The first snow showed up—uninvited, as usual. We’ll be over here pretending to be okay about it with a hot drink buried under an irresponsible amount of whipped cream. Come warm up, or at least look like you’re handling winter better than you actually are.
