Royal Terrace has been family owned since 1973. The current 67-bed Long-Term Care Home was built new in 1989 and is fully accredited.

Right next door is our 48-suite Retirement Home. We are also located beside the Palmerston Hospital.

Royal Terrace is looking for SUMMER VOLUNTEERS! Royal Terrace is looking for volunteers to provide bike rides to our residents using our wheelchair accessible bike and provide outdoor walks and visits around the property.

Today we celebrated Dianne Metzger on her 50 years working at Royal Terrace!! Starting at Clarkwood Estate at the tender age of 17 as a nurses aid for 4 years, she transitioned to the kitchen for a year, before transferring to the housekeeping department where she continues to ensure Royal Terrace is s***k and span.

International Women’s Day celebrates women’s achievements and pushes for gender equality... we celebrated today with The Evolution of Barbie Doll program, which mirrors cultural expectations and progress since 1959, when Barbie was introduced.

Card Bingo is a favourite here! Other than the joy of winning BINGO, card bingo offers cognitive stimulation, social engagement, and can improve fine motor skills. A fun game for this snowy Wednesday.

6 more sleeps until Christmas and it feels like we've been as busy as the elves! This week we enjoyed Christmas carols with Dr. Peterkin, Christmas light town tour, High school Christmas visits, and our annual Candlelight Christmas Church Service with Rev. Hervey Shank!!! We end the week with a special cupcake treat!
