We've had the pleasure for most of this summer to have this dedicated young man, Sawyer, volunteer with us. He has brought compassion, patience and joy to all our residents throughout the summer. Today he facilitated his own program! This afternoon he had the residents touching and feeling the most bizarre items from mashed banana, chocolate spread, and slime! The residents may have been a little apprehensive sticking their hands in the box, but they had a blast!
We wish Sawyer the best of luck with his upcoming school year, and hope he comes to visit when he can. He will surely be missed.

What a great afternoon with the Triple C Farm Animals! We were entertained by an alpaca, sheep, miniature pony, donkey, baby sister goats, and the most friendly bunnies. Thank you to the Residents' Council of Royal Terrace for sponsoring the well received event!

You're never too old to experience something new! Last night residents experienced a night out at The Elora Raceway taking in the horse racing action. Some of us even came home with heavier pockets than before.

So happy that Memphis was able to visit this morning. I think he missed us as much as we missed him with all the snuggles that were being given.
We also had an early Father's Day celebration with "Donuts for Dads". Everyone left satisfied with a donut and coffee from Tim Hortons.
