Can't make it to Gala but would still like to support the new Bone Mineral Density Scanner? You could make a Gala Cash Donation! You can donate via our website or by e-transfer at payments@pdhfoundation.ca or you can mail in or drop off a cheque. Your support will help to fund this this essential diagnostic tool and ensure patients continue to receive reliable, timely testing close to home.

We recently travelled to Arthur to our friends at Arthur 2nd Look where they presented us with a cheque for $2000! This donation will be put towards our Starlight Gala project - a new Bone Mineral Density scanner for our hospital. Instead of gifts, some incredible kids in our community chose to support our hospital by asking for donations in honour of their special day. 🎂 Lily, Carson, Sawyer and Griffin decided to request donations to PDH for their birthday rather than gifts. Their parents, Julie & Colin, matched the birthday donations, giving our hospital a total of $520! It’s such a simple idea, but it makes a huge difference. Every dollar helps us care for patients, support families, and keep our equipment up to date. Thank you, Newbigging family for making your birthdays count in such a meaningful way!

We’re excited to share our project for this year’s Gala: A new Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Scanner for our hospital. Our current scanner has reached the end of its life and needs to be replaced to ensure patients continue to receive reliable, timely testing close to home.

BMD Scanners play an important role in detecting osteoporosis and assessing fracture risks. With earlier detection, patients can receive treatment sooner, helping them stay active, independent, and healthy.

Your support at the Gala will help fund this essential diagnostic tool to our community, improving care for countless patients today and in the years ahead.

Tickets for the Twenty-Third Starlight Gala - May 23, 2026 in Harriston.

Gala Sponsorship Campaign is in motion from January 1st – March 27th. Sponsorships are available starting at $3000, and if you are interested in sponsoring a table please email Dale Franklin at dfranklin@pdhfoundation.ca

Individual tickets for Gala are priced at $150 each, and are distributed beginning April 1st, BUT you should request a spot on the ticket wait list now. Emails MUST be directed to pdhgalatickets@gmail.com so that tickets can be distributed in the order that the requests were sent in. People who request tickets will not hear from the ticket chair until April 1st at the earliest (unless they have a question about your request for tickets). Tickets are not guaranteed until all the sponsor tickets have been distributed and we determine the number of individual tickets available.

The ticket wait list is the ONLY way to reserve individual tickets. Our Starlight Gala is always a sell out, and if you would like tickets, we recommend you email your request early to avoid disappointment. If you have a group that would like to sit together, please have 1 person email the request for the table, and let us know who you are requesting tickets for (we can split payment and tax receipt details later).

We are looking forward to an exciting evening with all our guests, as we celebrate the Twenty-Third Starlight Gala in support of our local hospital.
